The personal lives of celebrities can hardly be kept under wraps. Stars drawing around $18 million each year attract women like bees are attracted to honey. So Dirk Nowitzki is no different either to both these accounts. He was first linked to Cristal Taylor who, if reports are to be believed, dated him for a year and a half before she was picked up by law enforcement officials from his Preston Hollow mansion and put behind bars for a felony committed earlier. According to the medical reports issued by the jail authorities (of course on a much later date), she was pregnant with young Dirkster. At the time all this drama was taking place at the mansion, Dirk Nowitzki was busy playing the NBA playoffs at Denver. The more happening news is that after the incident, Dirk Nowitzki left his girlfriend of 18 months high and dry in the jail (and a miscarriage is believed to have ensued at around the same time.

For the second time round, Dirk Nowitzki went to the extent of getting engaged. Having dated Swedish beauty Jessica Olsson for a while Dirk Nowitzki announced his engagement with her and said he was planning to get married after the basketball season.
